We the People of the United States, in order to preserve the rule of law, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and the checks and balances of power in our three branches of government, call upon the U.S. Congress to commence Articles of Impeachment against Barack Hussein Obama.
President Obama has committed an unprecedented amount of high crimes and misdemeanors since swearing-in to office in 2008. The Congress and Senate of the United States have been shamefully lenient and notoriously compromising in their toleration of this mayhem. The fact that he has not been impeached by now is completely UNNACCEPTABLE. Multitudes of concerned Americans are outraged by the apathy of their representatives in Congress, who have not upheld their duties under oath, by complying with their constituents’ requests.
Consequently, we as members of this constitutional republic, which is made possible by the principle of democratic leadership enshrined in the Constitution, demand our congressmen, congresswomen, and our senators to follow suit with this exasperated ultimatum. The United States is a government “of by and for the people” – one that derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. Conversely, in the midst of this dire need to end the lawlessness committed by President Obama, Congress has been insultingly silent and shamefully passive in the presence of the administration’s treasonous crimes; we will NOT tolerate this any longer.
Politicians’ weak point is losing the support and votes of constituents. As we continue pressuring our elected officials with this outcry for justice, they will eventually comprehend our message loud and clear: their votes for reelection will be nonexistent if they continue turning blind eyes to our desperate shout for impeachment. This cowardice behavior in Washington is absolutely despicable, and we are joining together to end it!
Therefore, from the common mouth of the People: Congress – grow a spine, and impeach this traitor in the White House, NOW!
The following is a partial list of the many impeachable offenses committed by the Obama administration. Again, there are many more than just these:
(01) The Obama administration via the Justice Department was involved in the targeting of conservative, Christian, and pro-Israel organizations and donors through its relations with the IRS; thus, perpetrators were not brought to justice.
(02) In blatant violation of the First Amendment, the Obama Justice Department ordered criminal investigations of FOX News reporters simply for performing their duties during the 2012 election year.
(03) Throughout Obama’s presidency, he has declined to enforce longstanding U.S. Immigration laws.
Over 300,000 illegal immigrants have been captured awaiting deportation; however, Obama ordered the U.S. Border Patrol to release these illegals in violation of law, without elucidation.
Even though Congress rejected Obama’s DREAM ACT, which would have given permanent residency to illegal immigrants under certain criteria, President Obama wrote an executive order to impose his own version of the DREAM ACT – an insult to the people's Congress by defying their voted-on decision.
(04) President Obama outright lied to the American people claiming they could keep their doctor and healthcare insurance if they preferred; however, millions upon millions have been denied their desired coverage – an utterly fraudulent claim.
(05) The Obama administration unilaterally directed the EPA to set carbon emission standards, which bypassed Congress. Congress has opposed Obama’s energy reform bill.
(06) The Obama administration spent 23 million of taxpayer money via the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to fund a constitutional referendum in Kenya, violating the Siljander Amendment that makes it unlawful to lobby for abortion in foreign countries. Rep. Chris Smith of New Jersey said there was no transparency in the process of acquiring information from the USAID about the project.
(07) President Obama has dangerously threatened our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. He issued 23 executive orders immediately following the tragedy at Sandy Hook. The effects of these executive orders undermine citizens’ constitutional right to adequately defend themselves, and are infringements on the integrity of the Second Amendment.
An extremely outrageous offense was President Obama’s amendment to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which gave doctors and hospitals an explicit right to investigate whether their patients own a firearm: clearly none of their business.
Moreover, the President recently attempted to ban Social Security recipients from the right to own a gun – a discriminatory singling-out on this specific class of citizens.
Furthermore, the Second Amendment is applicable today just as much as it was in 1783. The Founders’ original intent was to not only safeguard citizens’ individual right to keep and bear arms, but also to protect the freedom of the state: allowing the people to defend themselves against the possible threat of a tyrannical government.
An argument waged by Democrats has been that the Second Amendment is no longer applicable today, due to the technological innovations of weaponry; however, in the 1700s when the only military small arm was a musket or pistol, citizens had “equivalent” firearms to the military, thereby granting them “military-style” weapons. Therefore, bans on so-called assault weapons and large-capacity magazines are blatantly unconstitutional.
(08) The Obama administration has encroached upon religious freedom. The Health and Human Services Department, without congressional approval, issued a mandate that requires all health insurance plans to cover abortion-inducing medications. This means that pro-life employers, along with taxpayers, are legally required to pay for abortion-related medical expenses.
This violates religious freedom and the freedom of association as per the First Amendment, and it impairs the protections of the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act. It also breaches the mandate on ObamaCare enacted by Congress to prohibit taxpayer funds being used for abortions.
(09) ObamaCare was sold to the public based on fraudulent and mendacious claims about its cost.
Pres. Obama deliberately lied to the American people and to Congress about the ACA’s true cost. In his nationally televised speech to the nation he claimed it would cost no more that $1 trillion within the next 10 years. However, according to the Congressional Budget Office the price of ObamaCare to the Federal Treasury is $2.4 trillion. ObamaCare’s architect, Jonathan Gruber, told the public not to read the law, and admitted he never knew how to control its costs; he literally said in a speech it was designed by “throwing stuff at the wall,” and he thanked congressional Democrats for voting against their constituents.
(10) Operation Fast and Furious.
President Obama’s Justice Department ran a secret gun-exportation program. It shipped semi-automatic weapons into Mexico, which got into the hands of Mexican drug cartels and resulted in the life of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, was questioned under oath whether he knew of the DOJ program known as “Fast and Furious” – he lied to Congress, pretending to have no recollection. Congress placed Holder in contempt due to his resistance to comply with congressional subpoenas. He also did not submit the Justice Department documents about Fast and Furious, which numbered at 64 THOUSAND once finally turned in. In light of this, President Obama avowed Executive Privilege in order to shelter Holder. Nevertheless, Executive Privilege cannot apply unless the President has knowledge of the matter at hand, which alludes to the possibility that Obama knew of this entire scheme the whole time.
(11) Three weeks into Obama’s first term, his administration moved the Census Bureau from its place at the Commerce Department directly into the White House where Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel controlled it. The U.S. Census counts the U.S. population every 10 years by the non-partisan Commerce Department – its results determine the decennial redrawing of congressional districts. Representatives have heavily criticized this move calling it a “partisan” and “political land grab.”
(12) President Obama’s foreign policy has been grossly impotent and incredibly embarrassing to our military and the entire Department of Defense. There has been a subtle, political purging of competent generals within the Armed Forces. These are high-ranking officers who otherwise make sound decisions in accordance with the Constitution; however, many of these military leaders have been either pressured to resign or fired due to statements they’ve made, etc.
(13) The Benghazi “Stand-Down.”
After the U.S. Embassy came under attack by the terrorist group, Ansar al-Sharia on Sept. 11, 2012, security contractors who were on the scene fighting claimed they received a “stand-down” order. Being military tacticians – they knew such an order made no sense whatsoever after idly standing by for quite some time, while Americans were under heavy assault at this diplomatic compound. They eventually decided to “break” the order and respond to aid and assist; these contractors claim that 25 Americans are still alive, because they decided to disobey the stand-down order. Unfortunately, this attack claimed the life of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens along with two other Americans.
While the State Department, the House Intelligence Committee, and congressional Democrats claim no such stand-down order was made, the agents who were on the ground fighting claimed they were explicitly told via their chain of command to not respond. The incredible amount of disturbing information being uncovered about this tragedy is sickening to the American people. There is high likelihood that the Obama administration, working in conjunction with intelligence officials during this incident, secretly ordered a stand-down that allowed these radical extremists to achieve their objective.
(14) The Obama administration violated the law by covertly exchanging five Guantanamo terrorists for an Army soldier who was captured by the Taliban upon deserting his post.
